NEWS- 2015

DECEMBER

Ruby & Charlie has been awarded a Workshop Grant by the Jim Henson Foundation! I am very grateful and excited to be included among this year's recipients.

I traveled to Grand Rapids, MI to puppeteer in Jane Henson's Nativity Story at the Cathedral of St. Andrew.  It was a beautiful space for the gorgeous puppets built by the Jim Henson Workshop.

NOVEMBER

Thanks to The Puppet Kitchen I was part of the team that brought to life an epic laundry battle in the middle of Times Square!

OCTOBER

I had a blast puppeteeing in a short piece celebrating stories at NERDCON: Stories with Liz Hara, Brodrick Jones, Mary Robinette Kowal, and special invited guests during the Saturday afternoon mainstage event. The entire weekend was fantastic and I can't wait for more puppetry at the 2016 NERDCON: Stories!

AUGUST

My piece The Talleys was part of a great showcase in Late Night with Euguene O'Neill at the National Puppetry Festival. To celebrate 25 years of the National Puppetry Conference at the O'Neill, the Festival invited a number of pieces that were originally developed at the conference to be in the line-up hosted by Sonia Monzano (Maria from Sesame Street.)

JULY

I was honored to have been asked to perform a scene from Ruby & Charlie at the Euguene O'Neill Theater Center's annual gala.  It was a lovely evening and wonderful to spend time on the campus.

MAY

Along with Ronald Binion, I worked on a commission for The Juventas Music Ensemble's Music in Motion, an evening of contemporary music and puppetry. Together we created images to accompany the premiere of Benjy Wenzelberg's composition.  One of our final images was this rotating sculpture inspired by Tim Noble and Sue Webster.
